Testimonial from Yoga Retreat at Monkton Wyld Court, 2018

“I’ve been doing yoga now for nearly 2 years I think, and hadn’t appreciated what a hold it would take on me. When the opportunity to go on a yoga retreat came along I was really unsure of what to expect and whether I would enjoy it. But, it was amazing! The weekend was full of opportunity to relax and restore in a stunning location with some fabulous people. I have come away from the weekend with some new friends and an even greater love of yoga. I can’t wait for the next one!” – Tanya Roberts

The blossoming light of spring greets us as we emerge from our winter nests. Its soft brightness warms our skin with the promise of expansion and opening. We are gently stirred towards the seeds of possibility that have been growing within us. What is it you would like to express?

Join us at Braziers Park for a weekend of uplifting embodiment practices to connect you with your inner potential. These include:

  • Morning and afternoon movement/meditation/breathwork classes
  • Embodied yoga, dance & myth
  • Voice activation and singing in nature
  • Primal vinyasa
  • Fireside song & stories & drum
  • Restorative & yin yoga
  • Yoga nidra
  • Mudras meditation workshop & journalling

Alice will guide different movement, sound & nature sessions. The morning classes are designed to uplift & energise, while the late afternoon Yoga classes will have a gentler focus, with bolsters & blankets for relaxation or other meditative practices. On Saturday evening we will gather round the fire for a ceremony of sound and stories.

There will be lots of time to rest/spend in nature on the grounds. All classes are optional. This is a weekend for re-balancing your energy and returning to your source of inspiration.

Together let’s embrace the creativity of spring!
